Now because the room is unfurnished. You finally have a chance to do it up yourself. It comes with built-in wardrobes and air-conditioning. (those... no need to buy!) What is lacking is only a bedframe & mattress.

My 8 meter long balcony is a chillout area that looks over tall trees at United Square's Starbucks and the Moulmein rd stretch of condominiums. Everything is a good distance away and avoids towering claustophobia, only one tall condo stands facing us with floor to ceiling windows as we observe the ongoings in each unit across us. The available master bedroom faces the same views while the common room sees a part of United Square and the rest of Kampong Java rd.

The living room houses my 9ft pool table right under the ceiling fan, or else 2 air-conditioners, which accomodates house parties and smaller gatherings rather nicely. Sofas and throw-around beanbags surround the pool table on such occassions too. I haven't pick which wall to throw projection movies on yet, it'll probably be decided by the first house party when I will also hook up a simple sound system.
I'm also cozying my work bench / dining area which only sits 6 people, for informal microwave dinners or brainstorming sessions for those who decide to work out of their rooms.

We'll share a fridge or two! depending on how well it will be stocked up with beers & wines, perhaps another fridge for food! I'm a toaster & microwave dinner kinda person, but whoever decides to cook, there is a functional stove/oven that I have decided to ignore so far.

A little background about myself, is that I work as an in-house designer for a company that manages clubs, bars & other F&B outlets like restaurants and dessert places. My workhours are quite regular to office hours but I'm naturally a late night person, so my music carrys on into the night and maybe the wee hours of the morning as I prefer surfing the net in the living room, or have friends over for pool, dinner, drinks or a couple of movies. I invite my future housemates to do the same.
